One of MENA HPF’s strategic objectives is to promote utilization of empirical evidence for policy formulation and program improvement through targeted and sustained sharing of research findings. The MENA HPF also strives to have active engagement with policy makers at an early stage of project development to integrate their concerns and priorities (though without compromising independence and integrity) and to gain access to relevant data.
The MENA HPF uses four main methods in its advancing its mission and pursuing development of better health policies in the MENA region:
- Collaborations Networking.
- Workshops/Conferences.
- Mass Media.
- Publications.
- Events/workshops/Conference
MENA HPF uses workshops and conferences as forums for interacting with relevant stakeholders and creating an information exchange platform. Through our events, researchers, policy makers , program managers and other stakeholders share key findings and discuss possible improvements in policy and practice to address issues emerging from the evidence.
This website is regularly updated with information regarding our work to promote evidence-based health policy-making , current relevant research information and information derived from our work program, conferences and Members contributions.
