We are pleased to announce the 1st Regional Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Policy Forum. The forum will take place on September 27-28, 2017 at the Cairo Marriott Hotel, Cairo, Egypt.
The forum will be held with the objective of fulfilling an unmet need among countries of the region, to raise awareness and improve their capacity regarding the concepts of HTA. The ultimate goal would be that countries in the region embrace and develop an appropriate HTA policy, in their progress towards Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC), and as a basis for decision making to improve the efficiency of their systems and the health outcomes of their population.
The Forum will convene participants from the MENA region, representing health sector multi stakeholders from state and non-state sectors including: decision makers, academia, economists, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare workers, international organizations, NGOs and investors working in the health sector to ensure full representation.
